Copenhagen 2009 Update from Greenbank CEO Fiona O'Hehir

The negotiations in Copenhagen are stalling, but unknown to most they can legitimately continue into tomorrow Saturday.

The final days of the COP15 have been marred by the resignation of Connie Hedegaard with her replacement being the Prime Minister of Denmark, Lars Locke Rasmussen.

I think his delivery of a possible "new text" for the Long-term Co-operative Action was premature and led to a further mistrust in the process. This diverted the debate back to what was appropriate practice rather than the outcomes that are need to go forward.
