Solar Water Heater Subsidy

The WA Government is offering rebates to householders who install environmentally friendly, gas-boosted solar water heaters.

  • $500 for natural gas-boosted solar water heaters
  • $700 for bottled LP gas-boosted solar water heaters used in areas without reticulated gas.

Solar water heaters must be purchased from recognised suppliers, rebates for installations in new homes must be pre-approved through a formal pre-approval process.
