QLD Solar Water Rebate Program

New State Solar Program

From 1st July, 2009, the Queensland Government Solar Hot Water Program is available to state residents.

Eligible applicants will have access to a standard solar or heat pump hot water system for costs including:

• $100 for pensioners and low income earners
• $500 for other eligible applicants

Brisbane City Council will support those who undertake the program by providing local residents with a $50 voucher for the Council's $111 plumbing inspection fee.
