QLD Solar Program Closes

Solar water systems purchased on 1st July, 2009, or through the new Queensland Government's solar water program, will not be eligible for the $400 rebate.

Other Solar Hot Water Rebate Program Deadlines

• solar water systems purchased through a 'program participant supplier', must purchase the system and book an installation date by the 30th June, 2009.
• for local residents who prefer the Council's rebate - which waives the $111 plumbing inspection fee, all systems must be purchased 30th June, 2009.
• plumbing inspection forms 1,2 and 7 must be submitted to Council by 31st July, 2009.
• all plumbing inspections must be booked with Council's plumbing services by 1st September, 2009.
• for those who purchase a system through either program must submit rebate applications to Council by 30th September, 2009.
