Large Scale Solar (LGCs)

What are LGCs?

LGCs, or Large-scale Generation Certificates, are tradeable certificates specifically designed for eligible large-scale renewable energy power stations. These certificates quantitatively represent the amount of renewable electricity generated or displaced by these facilities. Each LGC corresponds to 1 megawatt-hour (MWh) of renewable electricity produced or displaced.

Greenbank’s LGC model covers Large-scale generation certificates generated from large-scale solar electricity activities (over 100kw). 1 LGC is equal to 1 MWh of renewable electricity generated. Greenbank offers an excellent consulting service for LGC’s to take away the administrative burden of certificate creation whilst also ensuring the solar power station gets the most out of solar energy & government incentives. Let Greenbank carry the weight for you and help you manage your LGC creation and portfolio.
