HOW TO COMPLETE THE FORM

Below is a list of all required fields which must be completed prior to sending to Greenbank:

1. Owner Details

2. Installation Address

3. System Description

4. Does the Solar Water Heater being installed – Tick one box only

5. System Installer

6. Installation & GST Declaration (Page 1) – Tick all boxes to acknowledge each point

7. Payment Details – If RECs payment is being made to the Installer/Supplier tick 1st box, or tick 2nd box if being paid to the Owner. If you want to be paid directly into your bank account, please provide 6-digit BSB, up to 9 digit account number, and name of the account (not name of the bank). If you want to be paid by cheque, leave bank details blank and tick the box “Send Cheque ...”

8. Signed – This must be signed by the person written in the Owner details section

9. Witness – This must be signed by a witness Eg. Husband, wife, etc

10. GST & Installation Declaration (Page 2) –If the system is bought by an organisation or a business it may incur GST. Example: ABC Plumbing, Fish & Chip shop, etc. If the owner is a business write company name and ABN details here and tick 2nd box “The solar water heater or small generation unit is owned by a business which is registered for GST”.

If the owner is an individual, Peter Jones, Jane Smith, etc tick 1st box “RECs payment is made to me as an individual and the supply being for domestic use” and leave the rest blank

If a point of sale discount is given, please issue Greenbank Environmental Pty Ltd with an invoice notifying us how many RECs were given at point of sale. This makes payment allocation a lot easier at both ends.

Please note both solar water heating RECs and the 15 year deeming option for solar power RECs must be registered within 12 months after date of installation. Solar power RECs in general can be claimed in blocks of five year deeming for the life of the system.

WHAT NEEDS TO BE SENT WITH THE FORM

Once signed by the owner of the solar power or solar water heating system, attach copies of proof of purchase and proof of installation. The Regulator now requires two (2) forms of documents attached to the Greenbank form:

1. a proof of purchase with the installation address on it ie. A copy of installer’s invoice to the customer

2. a proof of installation, this can be a warranty certificate, compliance certificate, installation report or description
   

These supporting documents should have the correct model number and the tank serial number on it recorded by the installer or the customer. (These numbers can be written on).

HOW TO SEND THE FORM

The Greenbank form, copies of proof of purchase and proof of installation can be returned either by post, fax or email

WHEN TO EXPECT PAYMENT

If the form is completed and the relevant documents have been provided, payment will be made directly into your bank account, or by cheque if requested, within 14-21 days after we receive your completed form; proof of purchase and proof of installation. Please be aware that incomplete or incorrect documents will delay payment.
