The NSW Energy Savings Scheme are now offering an incentive for replacing an existing electric or gas hot water system with an approved heat pump or solar water heater at Residential and Small Business sites in NSW.

You are now able to claim both stc’s and esc’s on hot water upgrades in nsw.

Eligible Activities are listed below for your guide:

• D17 Replacing an existing electric water heater with an approved heat pump water heater.
• D18 Replacing an existing electric water heater with an approved solar (electric boosted) water heater
• D19 Replacing an existing gas water heater with an approved heat pump water heater
• D20 Replacing an existing gas water heater with an approved solar (electric boosted) water heater
• D21 Replacing an existing gas water heater with an approved solar (gas boosted) water heater
